Deciding to come to therapy can be a difficult process. Choosing a therapist that you think will be a good fit usually starts with what services or expertise they may provide. While I'm comfortable working with clients on a wide range of topics, I try to limit my focus and expertise to the topics listed below. These are general topics and are not here for you to figure out how you may or may not "fit" into them. Just take a few minutes are read more about these subjects. My hope is that it brings something new to your awareness or a different way of approaching an issue. The information below will hopefully help someone see how there are many factors that can contribute to a person's day to day interactions.
LGBTQ+ Counseling - Counseling for mental health diagnosis including depression and anxiety, support around coming out process, transitioning support for transgender and non-binary adults.
Gender Dysphoria Counseling- Counseling for support around coming out or discovering your gender identity. Help with HRT or additional steps needed in transition if desired.
Counseling for Introverts - Support for those of us that prefer one on one interactions, quiet time alone, and need to recharge after too much socialization.
Grief and Loss Counseling - Support and processing the death of a loved one, pet, loss of a relationship, or transitions in life that feel like a death.
Caregiver Support - Counseling and support for adult caregivers providing physical and psychological support for their loved one. Often experiencing burnout.
Boundary Setting - Counseling focusing on setting boundaries for clients that have a difficult time with people pleasing or allowing people to treat you poorly or manipulate you.
Teen Counseling - Talk therapy is often the first and best choice to give teens a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings.
Individual Adult Counseling- Support around stages of life, transitions, anxiety, depression, and family dynamics.
