Professional
I attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX for my undergrad and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I also attended St. Edwards University in Austin, TX where I completed my Masters of Arts in Counseling.
Every job I've had has revolved around the helping profession in one way or another. My experience ranges from volunteering with the Texas Youth Hotline and working with tweens and teens in an after school setting to working at multiple State Agencies providing services to Texas' most vulnerable citizens. I have also provided counseling services to some of Austin's homeless neighbors to working in a group counseling practice in Westlake. I then decided that I could continue supporting my clients while also giving me the freedom of being my own boss.
Since getting started in the counseling field, I have taken numerous trainings and certifications to continue my education. This includes becoming certified as a Positive Discipline Parent Educator and a New Ways for Families Counselor. I am now an approved LPC-Supervisor.

I want to start this off by saying that writing about myself feels awkward.
I'm originally from Louisiana, but have lived in Texas since the first grade. I grew up in North East Texas. I've lived in Austin since 2007 and love everything but the constant allergies. I enjoy traveling and TRY to go somewhere at least once a year. So far my favorite place has been Italy.
I'm a big animal person. I've had pets my entire life ranging from birds, horses, hamsters, cats, and dogs. Now I only have a dog. Her name is Birdie. She is an English Springer Spaniel. She has completed her training and will join me at my office to support clients when they want her too. Birdie now has her own page on my website, so go check out her page to learn a little more. Birdie at Savannah Stoute Counseling
When I'm not working or at home with my dog, I try to do some fun things around Austin. I like going to all the natural swimming holes with family, friends, and Birdie. I enjoy trying new restaurants that are always popping up. I also like to take advantage of all the free music events around town. Unfortunately, they are usually in the summer when it's 200 degrees outside.
