Professional
I attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX for my undergrad and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I also attended St. Edwards University in Austin, TX where I completed my Masters of Arts in Counseling.
Every job I've had has revolved around the helping profession in one way or another. My experience ranges from volunteering with the Texas Youth Hotline and working with tweens and teens in an after school setting to working at multiple State Agencies providing services to Texas' most vulnerable citizens. I have also provided counseling services to some of Austin's homeless neighbors to working in a group counseling practice in Westlake. I then decided that I could continue supporting my clients while also giving me the freedom of being my own boss.
Since getting started in the counseling field, I have taken numerous trainings and certifications to continue my education. This includes becoming certified as a Positive Discipline Parent Educator and a New Ways for Families Counselor. I am now an approved LPC-Supervisor.

I'm originally from Louisiana, but have lived in Texas since the first grade. I grew up in North East Texas. I moved to Austin in 2007 and then moved out to Wimberley area in 2024. I love everything about the Hill Contry, but the constant allergies. I enjoy traveling and TRY to go somewhere at least once a year. My favorite places so far have been Italy and Hawaii.
I'm a big animal person. I've had pets my entire life ranging from birds, horses, hamsters, cats, and dogs. Now I have three dogs. Their names are Gigi, Birdie and Mocha. They sometimes make their presence known during my virtual sessions, but we try our best to keep it super quiet.
When I'm not working or at home with my dogs, I try to do some fun things around the area. I like going to all the natural swimming holes with family and friends. I enjoy trying new restaurants that are always popping up. I also like to take advantage of all the free music events around in the area. Unfortunately, they are usually in the summer when it's 200 degrees outside.
